About

At Cookies For You, we celebrate our love of baking in our full menu selection. Our company was started in 1992 by Mary Helen Hasby.  Originally from New Town, ND, her passion for cookies started as a child in the kitchen with her grandmother, mother, and sister.  In 2019, Mary Helen sold the store to Casey Klein, a native of Tuttle, North Dakota. Casey also shares a long-time passion for baking.  And while the ownership may have changed, the treats have not.  You might see a new item added here or there, but you can still expect to find your favorite cookie or bar that Cookies For You has been serving since 1992.

Flavors for Every Sweet Tooth

Since its simple origins in 1992, Cookies For You has grown exponentially. The bakery now offers a menu of 18 cookie flavors and ships them nationwide. Decorated cookies, bars, cookie pizzas, sweets trays, cookie bouquets, gift baskets (including wine and beer baskets), cakes, and cupcakes are also available.   Cookies For You features a daily soup and sandwich lunch special and offers box lunch catering for business functions or events.   There is also a line of specialty coffees, mochas, lattes and cappuccinos available.  No matter what kind of treat you prefer, you’re sure to find something to satisfy your craving in our store.

The Secret Ingredient: Family

What makes Cookies For You special isn’t our cookie bouquets or specialty sweets. We believe that our success is rooted in our humble beginnings as a family business. Our bakery began with just one part-time baker and one part-time delivery person – Mary Helen Hasby’s own father.  Today, we employ 15 full and part-time employees.  While the business was recently purchased by Klein, it’s still in the family as Klein’s husband Greg and Hasby are cousins.  The business has certainly grown over the years  but we are still proud to continue to operate as a tight-knit, passionate family business.

Nothing Sweeter Than a Local Business

Cookies For You is located in downtown Minot, and is happy to be a part of the heart, heritage, and history of the downtown community that adds to the unique appeal of the Magic City.
